In last Tuesday's post I wrote of the "uncanny date" chosen for the next round of peace talks, which will be held in Jerusalem this Wednesday, August 14. The date is just one day before August 15 in 2005, when then President Bush pressured Ariel Sharon to remove 9,000 citizens from Gaza. Within two weeks, one million fled New Orleans and the Gulf Coast from the worst hurricane on U.S. record, Katrina.
